Which neighborhood should I choose?
One of the craziest things about being a realtor is trying to figure out where you want to live yourself. I feel like every other week, I have found a new community that I really like. The kids are all graduating high school. Well my daughter is in college, my son got his GED, and my step-daughter will be graduating this year and continuing her college career at UCF over the summer. She already almost has an AA out of high school. We are almost empty nesters and have only been married a couple of years. So we have the opportunity to find a new place to call home.
We have both been in Avalon Park for a very long time. Our kids were raised and finished school here and we love it, but I feel that it is time for a change. This year alone we couldn’t decide between moving to the beach, living in a condo downtown, buying a home in Winter Garden, Champions Gate, or the newly found Providence. Each community has something that we like but it is so hard to decide.
I am beginning to understand why it is so difficult for my clients. It is funny that I have been doing this for almost 10 years and it is the first time I am in this situation.
Have you ever been at a crossroads and have no clue which way to go?
